Taoiseach Simon Harris has rejected the notion that he would be "cosying up" to USA President Joe Biden when he visits the White House later this month.
The Taoiseach will meet the president to mark 100 years of diplomatic relations between Ireland and United States later this month.

The Taoiseach described the the escalation in the Middle East as "really dangerous".
He went on to talk about the relationship that the Taoiseach and President have saying "I’m also proud of the tradition of Taoiseach and Presidents being able to engage on issues too."
He went on to speak about the position of the President and ceasefire in the Middle East "I have absolutely no doubt that his administration, led through the efforts of secretary of state Antony Blinken, have been working to find a ceasefire."
And how "big countries, small countries, Europe, the United States" need to work together to bring " the world back from the brink?"
