The late Evangeline Sapon Musch
Tributes have been pouring in for the Irish woman who drowned while on holiday in Sardinia.

Originally from Taguig in the Philippines, Ms Sapon Musch was living in Athy, Co Kildare and was a nurse at St Vincent's Hospital.
She was the mother of four children and had six grandchildren.

"So shocked and saddened by this awful tragedy, Evangeline will be sorely missed in St Joseph’s, she was a breath of fresh air always laughing and singing, Condolences to her beloved Ben and her family. Rest in peace pretty woman," someone wrote in tribute.
A woman whose late father was taken care of by Ms Sapon Musch in the hospital paid in tribute: "Sincere sympathy to Evangeline's partner, family, friends and work colleagues at St. Vincent's Hospital Athy. We have been privileged to have received the devoted care and love of this beloved lady when she, along with her nursing colleagues, attended to my late father, Jim Flood prior to his passing. For that we are eternally grateful. May Evangeline now rest in the care of the Lord."
Ms Sapon Musch is pre-deceased by her parents Felina and Canvto Sr.

The Alghero Fire Brigade Flight Department and the Cagliari divers, supported by helicopter, were deployed during the rescue operation, according to reports in local media.
The tragedy occurred off the coast in the west of the island, near the village of Portu Maga, right in the centre of Costa Verde.
A specialist diver was lowered into the sea and recovered her from the ocean.
Local reports reported the woman was brought back to land, but that nothing could be done at that point to save her.
It is the second death of an Irish person to occur in Sardinia.
