A motorcyclist has been killed in a crash near Bandon in Co Cork.
The man, in his 20s, was fatally injured in the collision involving a car at around 11am on Monday at Curravarahane.
His body was taken to Cork University Hospital where a post-mortem examination will take place in the coming days.
No other injuries were reported.
Garda forensic collision investigators examined the scene and the road has since reopened.
Gardai have appealed to anyone who may have witnessed the collision to contact them.
Road users with camera footage, including dashcam, who were travelling in the area at the time are asked to make it available.
