A driver in Drogheda was caught driving under the influence over the Bank Holiday weekend and failed to present a driver's licence after being stopped by Gardaí.
Gardaí said in a post on X that "this is the kind of appalling behaviour we see everyday".
Gardaí working in the Louth Roads Policing Unit stopped this car at a checkpoint in Drogheda over the weekend.

No driving licence. No insurance. No NCT. No tax.
The driver failed a roadside drug test.

The driver also failed to produce car insurance, NCT or car tax. They were stopped as part of the recent Garda #SaferRoads campaign.
