Gardaí have caught a motorist travelling almost double the speed limit on a busy Irish road.
According to An Garda Síochána, officers attached to the Roads Policing Unit detected the car travelling at 112km/h in a 60km/h zone in Tallaght, Co Dublin.
In a statement posted on their official X (formerly Twitter) page, a Garda spokesperson stated: "Speeding is a choice, and never a good one."
