Cian Langelaan was last seen in the Horn Head area of Donegal on Sunday, September 27, 2020
The mother of missing Cian Langelaan has sent a heartfelt message to her ‘dearest son’ on his 30th birthday.
Anthea Langelaan has has kept up her pleas for information about her only child since his disappearance in September, 2020.
In en emotional post to the Find Cian group on Facebook, Anthea wished Cian a happy 30th birthday.
“The 5th December 1992 was the happiest day of my life” she wrote.
“What a treasure you were! What joy you brought, not just to me but your grandma too, who loved you so. I still have all the wonderful memories of the good times Cian but not knowing what has happened to you is just heartbreaking. Happy Birthday my dearest son.”
Cian, who is approximately 5’8”, was last seen in the Horn Head area of Donegal on Sunday, September 27, 2020.
Cian got a taxi from Letterkenny to Horn Head at around 10.30pm and the following day a carrier bag with his belongings was located where he was dropped off.
Cian is described as being of a medium build with sandy hair and blue eyes and he was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white T-shirt and black boots.
Anthea Langelaan has never given up hope of finding her son.
On the anniversary of his disappearance earlier this year, she said: “I think of you every day, my darling son. Life is just too precious not to make the best of and that is what I try to do every day. But behind my smile always lives the heartache - some days just a dull pain, but occasionally, out of the blue, searing grief almost impossible to bear.”
