A VAN DRIVER who was stopped by gardaí for speeding has had their vehicle seized when it was discovered they were an unaccompanied learner driver.
The Naas Roads Policing Unit were carrying out speed checks near Eadestown village when they found a van traveling at 73kph in a 50 kph zone according to a post on X (formerly known as Twitter).
They were stopped and the driver was found to be an unaccompanied earner driver.
The van was seized, and the driver is due to appear in court.
