The otherworldly magic of the Macnas Parade transformed the streets of Dublin at Halloween this year.
The thrilling free event took place the night before Halloween on October 30 as par tof the Bram Stoker Festival, with tens of thousands of people attending.
This year’s parade, directed by James Riordan, told the story of La Loba, "a wild wolf-woman, who wanders the world collecting bones and preserving that which is in danger of being lost to the world".
Bram Stoker Festival director, Tom Lawlor, hailed the event as a huge success.
He said, "We’re thrilled to have enjoyed the most successful Dublin City Council Bram Stoker Festival yet. More people than ever before joined us at events across the capital celebrating the life and legacy of one of Irish literature's greats. We want to thank everyone who came out and made it one to remember!"
