Man driving erratically in car with bald tyres also tested positive for meth - Gardaí

Gardaí have arrested a man caught drug driving in an erratic manner in a vehicle with dangerously defective tyres. 

According to Gardaí, officers on patrol in the Thomastown district in Co Kilkenny stopped the car after noticing the erratic driving. 

The front tyres of the vehicle were found to be bald and the driver tested positive for methamphetamine. 

He was also found to be in possession of cannabis and had a live bench warrant. 

The car was subsequently seized.

The arrested man is due to appear in court this morning (October 13).
