REVEALED: More than half of Irish adults tuned in to the Women's World Cup

Over half of Irish adults watched the Women’s World Cup this year, with over 70% agreeing that it will lead to more interest in women’s soccer.

54% of people tuned in to the women’s World Cup over the course of the competition, research has found. 

The majority (76%) of adults agree that Ireland’s participation in the Women’s World Cup will lead to more interest in Women’s Soccer in general.

iReach Insights conducted the survey. The company provides a range of research and market intelligence services in Ireland and the EU. 

13% of adults who watched the matches at work watched them on their PC or Smart Device. 7% of adults wanted to watch the matches but their employer didn’t allow them to watch.
