Jess and Sammy take home the crown as Love Island winners
SAMMY Root and Jess Harding have been crowned the Love Island winners and will take home a whopping £50,000.
Jess and Sammy had a turbulent relationship throughout the series and fans have expressed shock over the couple winning across social media.
The couple have said the three magic words and made it official in the villa as boyfriend and girlfriend.
The days leading up to the final saw the pair go on a magical date where Jess said she felt like a princess and they both expressed excitement for the outside.
Runners up and voted as the public's favourite couple in previous episodes was Whitney and Lochan.
Whitney won over the hearts of the public due to her calm demeanour and amazing personality which shined through the screen.
Tyrique and Whitney went viral for their talent show performance and it is every bit as catchy as you would imagine!
In third place was Tyrique and Ella who also had a turbulent time in the villa but in the end we saw the pair break down their own barriers and are leaving in love and officially boyfriend and girlfriend.
In fourth place was Zachariah and Molly who were reunited after Molly returned to Casa Amour and Zachariah mentioned he was never letting Molly go again as they head out into the world.
Although many may be confused by the win it is no doubt the series continues to bring us the drama every season and this season was no different as it was named the best series on social media since Maura Higgins took on the villa in 2019.
Love Island will be returning to our screens soon for a winter series and we can't wait!
