Munster Rugby confirm no live TV coverage for sold-out Thomond Park tie with All Blacks XV

MUNSTER Rugby have confirmed this afternoon that their sold-out clash against the All Blacks XV in Thomond Park on Saturday, November 2 will not be shown on live TV.

Instead the province will show the game on Access Munster with live commentary from Dan Mooney and Barry Murphy. There is no additional charge for current subscribers to the streaming site and new subscribers can sign up to Access Munster for €10 this month (reduces to €4 per month after) or €42 per year.

The highly anticipated game sold-out only two weeks after the announcement of the game with the majority of tickets snapped up in the pre-sale for priority groups including Munster Rugby Supporters Club members, 10-year, five-year and club season ticket holders with the remainder quickly selling out. 

Since the redevelopment of Thomond Park in 2008, Munster Rugby have hosted international opposition in the form of the All Blacks, Australia and the Māori All Blacks at the Limerick venue.More recently Munster Rugby have hosted sold-out clashes against South Africa A and the Crusaders in Cork’s SuperValu Páirc Ui Chaoimh in November 2022 and February 2024.

The All Blacks XV confirmed a 29-man travelling squad at the start of October which was jointly selected by the All Blacks and All Blacks XV coaching groups with the process led by respective Head Coaches Scott Robertson and Clayton McMillan.
