EMERGENCY services are at the scene of a "serious" double-vehicle road traffic collision on the outskirts of Limerick in County Clare this Tuesday morning.
The incident, which involved two cars, occurred near Barry's Shop on Ardnacrusha, Clare, at around 7am.
Limerick Fire Service was alerted to the incident at 7.15am and dispatched three units to the scene. The Fire Service dispatched their Bravo appliance, comprising cutting equipment.

It is understood the National Ambulance Service is also at the scene.
AA Roadwatch, in an alert to the public on Twitter, described the incident as "serious".
It is not yet known how many people are involved in the incident, or the extent of injuries.
Meanwhile, there are reports of another crash in Annacotty, causing long tailbacks on the Kilmallock Road.
