Emergency services attend scene of Clare road crash

The collision happened shortly before 10pm

Emergency Services have been deployed to the scene of a road collision on the outskirts of Limerick city.

The alarm was raised shortly before 10pm this Friday following an incident at Summerhill, Meelick.

Gardai, paramedics from the National Ambulance Service and four units of Limerick Fire and Rescue from Mulgrave Street Fire Station are in attendance.

Details are unclear but it’s understood a single vehicle was involved in the collision. There are no details in relation to possible injuries.
