ON Monday, August 12, the resurfacing of the M20 from Junction 1 Limerick to west of Junction 5, Cork, will begin for 10 weeks.
The work is being carried out by motorway maintenance group, Colas Joint Venture (CJV), and will be carried out at night between the hours of 8pm and 6am Monday through to Saturday morning, each week.
Motorists are advised that the resurfacing works will take place for a period of eight to 10 weeks.

In order to carry out these works safely, sections of the M20 will be closed each night, with diversions in place.
During the day and at weekends, two lanes will remain open on the M20 with a temporary speed limit of 60kph in place as traffic will be running on an unfinished road surface, with lanes marked by temporary studs.
