Gardaí issue appeal as motorist caught driving at high speed on M50

Gardaí have penalised one high-speeding motorist after they were caught being 30kph over the speed limit.

A motorist travelling 131kph on the M50 was caught by gardaí, who issued the driver penalty points and a fine. 

The speed limit on the M50 is 100kph. 

The motorist was caught over the weekend, as gardaí continue to appeal to motorists to slow down.
