A lorry was seized at Dublin Port when gardaí discovered the driver had no haulage license and the vehicle had no tax.
Gardaí part of the Commercial Vehicle Unit seized the lorry when they found that it had not been taxed since it was imported into Ireland.
As well as this, the driver did not hold a valid driver CPC card or a haulage licence.

You can only drive a lorry professionally when you have a valid driver CPC card - he didn't have one.
Neither had he a haulage licence.#SaferRoads pic.twitter.com/UvoH1KYs8E
People flocked to social media to react to the seizure, with many praising the gardaí for their work.
