Traditional Limerick building damaged by fire

Considerable damage was caused by Monday's fire
A fire which broke out in a premises adjacent to Hayes neighbourhood shop premises in Ballybrown caused considerable damage to a portion of the traditional building.

A fire which broke out in a premises adjacent to Hayes neighbourhood shop premises in Ballybrown caused considerable damage to a portion of the traditional building.

The blaze started early on Monday morning with units of the Limerick City and County Fire Service responding to the scene before 7.30am. A spokesman said “no one was hurt”.

Investigations are continuing.
