Funeral to take place of Limerick road victim

THE funeral will take place later today of a teenager who died in a road accident at the weekend.

THE funeral will take place later today of a teenager who died in a road accident at the weekend.

Richard Browne, 19, of Balliniska, Feohanagh died in the single vehicle crash which happened at around 8.20am on Sunday on the N21 near Rathkeale.

He was the only person in the car and was pronounced dead at the scene.

His funeral mass take place at Castlemahon church at 12.30pm and afterwards he will be buried at the adjoining cemetery.

Mr Browne was the 12th person to die on Limerick roads since the beginngin of the year.

Gardai at Askeaton are investigating the cause of the accident, and can be contacted on 061-392102.
