LIMERICK senior and junior camogie sides are due to get their 2024 Glen Dimplex All-Ireland championship campaigns underway on Saturday next, May 25.

Limerick are due to take on Kilkenny in their opening Group 1 fixture of the Glen Dimplex All-Ireland senior championship. Meanwhile, Limerick are set to face Mayo in Group 2 of the All-Ireland Premier Junior Championship on the same afternoon.

The Camogie Association launched the 2024 Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Camogie Championships last week as they celebrate 120 years of the game. In the senior championship, Limerick are in Group 1 alongside Waterford, Tipperary, Derry, Antrim and first round opponents Kilkenny.

Group 2 of the championship features Cork, Galway, Down, Wexford, Clare and Dublin.

As in previous years, six teams will qualify for the knockout stages of the Glen Dimplex Senior All-Ireland Championships, three from each group. The two group winners will advance directly to the semi-finals. The second and third placed teams in each group will advance to the quarter finals.

The Glen Dimplex All-Ireland senior quarter-finals will be held across Saturday July 6 and Sunday, July 7 in Croke Park as double headers with the All-Ireland hurling semi-finals.

In the All-Ireland Premier Junior championship, Limerick are in Group 2 along with Laois, Roscommon, Cavan, Louth and first round opponents Mayo.
