Treaty United's men's First Division fixture with Longford is postponed

Treaty United's scheduled SSE Airtricity Men’s First Division fixture tonight against Longford Town has been postponed

TREATY United's scheduled SSE Airtricity League First Division fixture away to Longford Town tonight, Saturday, has been postponed.

The game, which was due to be played at Bishopsgate, was called off after the pitch failed its pitch inspection 'amid heavy rainfall'.

Competition organisers confirmed that a new date for the game will be communicated for the fixture 'in due course'.

Unbeaten Treaty United currently sit in second place in the SSE Airtricity League First Division table, three points behind table toppers Cork City, but with a game in hand.

Tommy Barrett's Treaty United side are set to return to action in the First Division with a big Munster derby clash with table toppers Cork City at the Markets Field on Friday evening next, March 22, at 7.45pm.
