Limerick's Division 1B Allianz Hurling League fixture with Galway will now take place at Pearse Stadium, Salthill
LIMERICK'S Division 1B Allianz Hurling League fixture with Galway on St Patrick's weekend is now set to be played at Pearse Stadium in Salthill on March 16.
The Round 5 fixture had been due to be played at the TUS Gaelic Grounds on St Patrick's Day. However, the Limerick GAA Board confirmed this Friday that the fixture with the Tribesmen had been moved to Pearse Stadium.
Limerick County Board confirmed that the change of venue was 'due to work at the TUS Gaelic Grounds'.
This Saturday's top-of-the-table meeting with Tipperary, which had been due to be played at the Ennis Road venue, is being played at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Cork. Throw-in is at 7.35pm and the game is live on RTE2 TV.
The league champions opening round league meeting with Antrim was switched to Semple Stadium, Thurles.

The meeting of Limerick and Galway on Saturday, March 16 at Pearse Stadium will throw-in at 1.15pm. The fixture will be the first half of a double header with Galway's Allianz Football League fixture with Dublin taking place at the same venue at 3.15pm.
