Limerick clubs learn FAI Junior Cup semi-final draw

The FAI Junior Cup has reached the quarter-final stage

THE draw has been made this Tuesday for the quarter-final stage of the 2023/2024 FAI Junior Cup.

Two Limerick sides, Regional United and Pike Rovers, have reached the last eight stage of the competition and the two Limerick District League Premier Division clubs were drawn against each other in Tuesday's draw. 

Regional United will have home advantage for the glamour all-Limerick tie. The winners of the game will face either Clonmel Celtic or Cockhill Celtic FC at the semi-final stage.

Elsewhere, in the quarter-final draw, last year's finalists St. Michael's AFC will host 2021/22 winners of the competition Villa FC. 

The draw, which took place earlier today at FAI HQ, sees the Tipperary club host Villa FC, from Waterford, in another huge game in the last eight of the competition. 

Cockhill Celtic face a long trip to Clonmel Celtic and Wexford's Gorey Rangers will host Peake Villa. 

All quarter-final matches will be played the week ending Sunday, March 3 with the semi-final draw completed straight after which can be seen below.
