ON THE back of an impressive 15-point win over Tipperary in Thurles last time out, the Limerick senior hurling team is on the road again this weekend, this time to face Offaly in the Allianz Hurling League Round 5 clash.

Trips to Glenisk O'Connor Park have been relatively rare in recent years but Limerick will make the journey full of confidence after wins over Kilkenny and the Premier.

Offaly, on the other hand, have lost all four of their league games to date.

What time is throw-in?

The game in Glenisk O'Connor Park starts at 2pm.

Is it on TV?

For the first time this season, there is no stream or television coverage of this game. However, the Limerick Leader will have all the action covered for news, action and reaction from Tullamore on Sunday.

Where can I get tickets?

For those making the trip, tickets can be purchased on Ticketmaster or participating Centra or SuperValu stores in the county.

Who is the referee?

Liam Gordon (Galway) will be the man with the whistle in the Midlands on Sunday.

Have the sides met recently?

Limerick's last trip to Tullamore was back in 2018, where the Shannonsiders claimed a 1-24 to 0-10 win. Aaron Gillane notched 1-8 while Gearoid Hegarty scored 0-3 from play that afternoon. The last National League meeting between the pair was also a one-sided affair as Limerick were 4-29 to 0-17 winners at the Gaelic Grounds, with Oisin O'Reilly, Cian Lynch, Barry Nash and Pat Ryan raising the green flags.

What's the current form guide?

Offaly might be relegated by the time the weekend is over depending on results across the division. Another loss on Sunday and they will be resigned to Division 1B hurling in 2027. Limerick, on the other hand, sit in second place. The Treaty are one of four sides on four points but the 15-point win at FBD Semple Stadium has boosted their scoring difference. A win for the visitors - especially if it's by a big margin - will see John Kiely's men well placed to reach the league final.
