LIMERICK minor manager Diarmuid Mullins has named a 37-player panel for the upcoming Championship campaign.

There are 21 clubs represented in the squad who get their Munster MHC underway when Waterford come to the TUS Gaelic Grounds on April 3.

Team captain Shane Waters (Na Piarsaigh) and vice-captain Eoin Hennessy (Patrickswell) are among the players returning from last year's panel. Also heading into his second MHC is Kilmallock's Gavin O’Brien. The three are among a 15-strong contingent from the Ardscoil Ris panel who won the Dean Ryan Cup in December.

Just like the U20 and senior sides, the Munster MHC is played on a round robin format, guaranteeing Mullins' young side four matches. Limerick will host Waterford and Tipperary while they travel to Ennis and Pairc Ui Rinn to face Clare and Cork.

Mullins has Brian Sexton, Ger Kelleher, Jody Hannon, Tom Murphy and Liam Reale in his backroom team for the 2026 season.
