THIS SUNDAY will see the Limerick senior hurlers get their National Hurling League campaign underway against Waterford. John Kiely's side had a bye in the opening round of action in Division 1A last weekend.
Waterford lost heavily 3-25 to 1-17 to Cork in the opening round of the National Hurling League. Limerick had a positive January where they won the Munster senior league title with Kiely giving gametime to several young players.
Former Kilmallock manager Peter Queally is into his second year in charge of the Waterford senior hurling side. Queally has added former Cork coach Donal O'Rourke and Limerick native Adrian O'Sullivan to his backroom this year.

Limerick begin their National Hurling League campaign on Sunday at 2pm away to Waterford in Azzurri Walsh Park.
