THREE LIMERICK schools will compete in this year's Dr Harty Cup. Ardscoil Rís,  Scoil Na Tríonóide Naofa and John the Baptist Community School all compete in the Munster post-primary schools senior ‘A’ hurling competition. 

In group one, Ardscoil Rís, have been drawn alongside Cashel Community School, Neenagh CBS and St Flannan's College, Ennis.

The city-based school face Cashel Community School in the opening round of the Dr Harty Cup on next Wedensday October 15 at 1:30pm (venue tbc). Niall Crowe's side were beaten by Thurles CBS in the quarter-finals last year.

Scoil Na Tríonóide Naofa and John the Baptist Community School have been drawn in the same group for the second year running in the Dr Harty Cup. The Limerick sides will face Thurles CBS and Blackwatoler Community School Lismore in the group.

John the Baptist Community School begin their campaign against the reigning Dr Harty Cup champions Thurles CBS on Wednesday October 15 at 1:30pm (venue tbc). John the Baptist lost to St Flannan's in the preliminary quarter-final last year.
Scoil Na Tríonóide Naofa take on Blackwater Community School, Lismore at the same time. The Doon side missed out on qualfying for the knockout stages of the competition last year.

Round two group games in the 2025 Dr Harty Cup competition are scheduled to take place on Wedensday November 5.
