THE FIXTURES for round six of the Lyons of Limerick Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship have been announced. Two rounds of the Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship remain with round six taking place next Friday September 12 and September 13 and the final round of group action takes place on the weekend of September 20/21.
Garryspillane and Croagh-Kilfinny are tied at the top of the table with eight points each, closely followed by last year’s county semi-finalists Effin on seven points. Granagh-Ballingarry sit in fourth place with six points. There’s little separating Bruff and Glenroe, with Bruff on four points and Glenroe just behind on three. At the bottom, Blackrock and South Liberties are level on two points apiece.
On Friday September 12, Croagh Kilfinny take on South Liberties in Adare at 7:30pm. Three games then take on Saturday September 13.

Garryspillane face Granagh-Ballingarry in Ballyagran at 2pm and at the same time in Kilmallock Bruff meet Effin. The final game of the weekend sees the clash of Blackrock and Glenroe at 3:30pm in Knocklong.
After the group action comes to an end in the Premier Intermediate Hurling Championship, the top four teams will advance into the semi-finals on the weekend of October 5. The Premier Intermediate Hurling final will then take place of October 19.
Meanwhile, the team that finishes bottom will be relegated to intermediate hurling for the 2026 season and the winner of Intermediate hurling championship will be promoted to the PIHC grade next year.
