Two Limerick hurling stars named on GAA.ie team of the week

TWO LIMERICK senior hurling stars have been named on this week's GAA.ie team of the week. Adam English and Aaron Gillane have been included on the team for their performances in the Munster final. 

Limerick midfielder Adam English produced an inspirational display finishing with 0-3, while sharpshooter Aaron Gillane was in impressive form scoring 0-9. 

English has been named in the half forward line alongisde Cork's Shane Barrett and Galway's Cathal Mannion. Gillane, Kildare's Jack Sheridan and Martin Keoghan of Kilkenny complete the full forward line.

Darragh Fitzgibbon who was awarded man of the match in the Munster final partners Cian Kenny in midfield. Cork wing back Mark Coleman is joined by Kilkenny's Mikey Carey and Richie Reid in the half back line. 

Damien Cahalane of Cork, Huw Lawlor who was awarded man of the match for Kilkenny in the Leinster SHC final and Kildare captain Rian Boran make up the full back line. 

Cork goalkeeper Patrick Collins earned a spot on the team of the week following his outstanding performance in the penalty shootout
