AFTER last Saturday's Munster final defeat, Limerick will now enter the All-Ireland senior hurling championship at the quarter-final stage. John Kiely's side will face Dublin or Kildare in the All-Ireland SHC quarter-final on June 21 in a neutral venue.
Dublin and Kildare face off on Saturday June 14 in the All-Ireland SHC preliminary quarter-final, while Tipperary meet Laois in the other preliminary quarter-final on the same day.
If Limerick get past the All-Ireland quarter-final, the Shannonsiders will face Kilkenny in the All-Ireland semi-final on Sunday July 6 in Croke Park.

Kilkenny won their sixth Leinster title in-a-row yesterday afternoon after a comfortable victory over Galway in the provincial decider.
Munster champions Cork will take on Galway, Tipperary or Laois in the other All-Ireland semi-final on Saturday July 5. The All-Ireland senior hurling final takes place on July 20 at 3:30pm in Croke Park.
2018 was the last time Limerick came through the All-Ireland quarter-final route. Since then, Kiely's side have advanced directly to the semi-finals after winning six Munster SHC titles between 2019 and 2024.
