THREE Limerick clubs will now switch their focus to the Munster club hurling championships this weekend.
Doon won their first Limerick senior hurling title at the weekend when they defeated Na Piarsaigh 0-16 to 2-9. Adam English scored the match winning point to secure a historic day for the east Limerick side.
Derek McGrath's side face Waterford kingpins Ballygunner in the Munster senior hurling championship quarter-final this Sunday at 4pm in the TUS Gaelic Grounds.
Newcastle West take on Cashel King Cormacs of Tipperary on Sunday in the Munster intermediate hurling championship quarter-final at 1:15pm in Newcastle West. The 'Magpies have been promoted to the senior hurling for the 2025 season.
Feenagh-Kilmeedy make the trip to Waterford to take on Kilrossanty in the Munster junior hurling championship quarter-final on Saturday at 1:15pm in Lemybrien. The west Limerick side will play in the intermediate hurling championship in 2025.
