THERE was a memorable West Limerick success at Tramore Racecourse recently when Marv Michael ran out an impressive winner of the 2m 5f Tramore Amusements Maiden Hurdle.
Marv Michael is owned by the Marv Michael Syndicate from Dromcollogher and was winning his first race inside the rails.
The winner, returned at odds of 5/2, ran out a four-length winner of the August 18 contest under jockey Rachel Blackmore from the second-placed Isle of Sark.
Marv Michael has been trained since November 2022 by Henry De Bromhead. The winner had previously won a point-to-point in Kinsale in October 2022 when trained by point-to-point trainer Pat Doyle from Tipperary.
