GARDAI are appealing for information after a car was stolen from outside a house in rural Limerick.
A thief broke into a house at Ballyroe Lower, Kilfinane on Thursday, November 17 sometime between 1am and 6am.
"He forced a rear door and stole a set of keys that were left in the kitchen. Unfortunately these were the keys to a white Vauxhall Astra that belonged to the owner of the house," said Garda John Finnerty.
According to investigating gardai, the thief then used the keys to steal the vehicle which has a 12C registration.
The car has not been recovered and anyone with information on its whereabouts is asked to contact gardai.
"If you did come across a white Vauxhall Astra hatchback in the early hours of last Thursday morning or indeed at any time
since, then we would like to hear from you. Please contact the gardai at Kilmallock garda station at 063 98018," said Garda Finnerty.
