Four men charged following new year's brawl at Limerick hotel

The men appeared before Limerick District Court

FOUR men have appeared in court after they were charged in connection with a disturbance at a hotel in Limerick city during the early hours of New Year’s Day.

The four, who are all related, were arrested at around 3.30am on Tuesday after gardai were alerted to the incident.

The men were taken to Henry Street garda station and subsequently appeared before Limerick District Court after they were charged with public order offences.

The defendants were granted bail and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions in relation to the matter.

A condition of the men’s bail is that they stay out of all licenced premises in Limerick.
