GARDAI in Limerick have appealed to any drivers who may have dash-cam footage of this week’s horror school bus crash near Caherconlish.

Some 46 students travelling to John the Baptist Community School were on board the vehicle on Wednesday when it crashed at Connolly’s Cross, on the R513 towards Hospital. Thirty-six were taken to hospital, but many returned to school by bus on Thursday morning.

Now, officers at Roxboro Road are appealing to anyone who might have been on the stretch of road at the time, and may have witnessed the incident – or have video evidence.

Contact Roxboro Road at 061-214340, or the Garda confidential line on 1800-666111.
