Early morning burglary of luxury Limerick city store sees gardaí investigate

Taken this Wednesday afternoon

LUXURY store Brown Thomas in O'Connell St in Limerick city has been burgled, gardaí have confirmed.

Gardaí are investigating an incident that occurred at the retail premises in Limerick City this Wednesday morning, July 17 at approximately 4am.

It is understood that the perpetrator gained entry to the shop by smashing the window facing onto the Little William Street laneway, which connects Thomas St and William St.

"A number of items were taken," gardaí have said, but "no arrests have been made".

Investigations are ongoing.
