TWO rounds of the Irish Wire Products Limerick senior football championship have been completed. Monaleen and Adare sit on the top of the table in group one of the SFC on four points. Oola also remain unbeaten on three points.
Shane O'Connor has been on target with 1-7 from play for county champions Adare during the opening two games of the SFC.
Monaleen captain Darragh Murray has scored an impressive 0-13 for side. Murray was forced off through injury on 32 minutes in his side's victory over Na Piarsaigh last time out.
Limerick goalkeeper Josh Ryan has lined outfield for his club Oola. Ryan has been in fine scoring form hitting 1-13 in the last two games.
After a difficult opening round defeat, Fr Casey's bounced back to earn a hard fought draw with Oola last weekend. Meanwhile, Rathkeale and Na Piarsaigh are yet to register any point in group one of the Limerick senior football championship.

Newcastle West already look like the team to beat in group two of the competition. Darren O'Doherty and Ruadhan O'Connor returned for the 2023 county champions after missing the opening round for their side.Limerick footballer Iain Corbett has been in impressive too scoring 3-4 for ‘the Magpies’ in the SFC.
St Kieran's are level with Newcastle West on four points, they recorded two victories over Galtee Gaels and Ballylanders in the space of five days last week.John Hayes, who was part of the Limerick senior football extended squad, and who has previously played Sigerson Cup for the University of Limerick has hit 0-13 for St Kieran's in the opening two games.
Mungret St Paul's bounced back from an opening round defeat to Newcastle West to edge past Galtee Gaels on Saturday. Tom Lloyd and Shane Barry hit 2-6 between them in the city's side victory.
Kildimo-Pallaskenry suffered a sixteen point defeat to Newcastle West last Friday in their second game. Tony McCarthy and Kyle Hayes were both missing for their club through injury.
Galtee Gaels and Ballylanders sit towards the bottom of the table on zero points. Round three of the SFC takes place on the weekend of September 4.
