LIMERICK man Adrian O'Brien has been named as Tipperary football's new Athletic Performance coaching lead following the appointment of Paul Kelly as their new senior manager.
O'Brien spent the 2023 season with Clare's senior hurlers as their strength and conditioning coach but has moved onto a new position with Tipperary for next season.
The Kilmallock native was involved with Young Munster during their AIL campaign last year and was with club sides Ballyea (Clare) and St Finbarr's (Cork) in 2022. He was also part of the Kilmallock management set up during the 2023 Limerick SHC.
O'Brien spent several years with the Limerick senior football team as their strength and conditioning coach during Billy Lee's tenure and is also the father of current Treaty senior hurler Shane O'Brien.
Kelly and the rest of the Tipperary senior football management team appointments will now go to the next county committee meeting for final ratification.
