LIMERICK ladies football team will be honored with a homecoming following their Junior All-Ireland final yesterday.
The homecoming will take place at the Old Mill ladies gaelic football club in Ashgrove this evening, August 14 at 6pm.
This Monday's event will take place at Limerick captains home club, Roísín Ambrose, and will feature entertainment, live music and food trucks.
Despite loosing out to Down in the final by two points the Treaty team put in a gallant effort throughout the entire game.
Down's second-half substitute, Orla Swail, scored a crucial goal for her side to put the Ulster team ahead and ultimately champions of the Junior grade.
The team will be welcomed by family and fans this evening and Limerick LGFA are urging everyone to get out and show their support and appreciation for the team.
