In Pictures: Limerick fans celebrate thrilling All-Ireland semi-final win over Galway

LIMERICK senior hurlers powered their way into a fifth All-Ireland final in six years after securing a convincing 2-24 to 1-18 semi-final victory over Galway at Croke Park on Saturday evening.

Limerick supporters in an impressive attendance of 59,739 at GAA HQ cheered John Kiely's charges to victory as the county's bid to achieve a four-in-a-row of All-Ireland final victories remains on track.

It was the second year in succession and a third time since 2020 that Limerick had ended the Tribesmen's championship ambitions.

The Shannonsiders will return to Croke Park for another All-Ireland final appearance on Sunday, July 23.

Photographers Kieran Ryan-Benson and the Sportsfile agency were on hand to capture all the colour and excitement of All-Ireland hurling semi-final Saturday at Croke Park.
