Limerick side to face Carlow in Tailteann Cup on Saturday named

THE Limerick senior football team to take on Carlow in the Tailteann Cup this Saturday has been named.

Limerick, fresh from their opening round victory over Longford at the TUS Gaelic Grounds last weekend, face Carlow this Saturday at Netwatch Cullen Park at 3pm.

Limerick manager Mark Fitzgerald has named an unchanged starting team from the one which defeated Longford 2-16 to 1-16 for this weekend's game in Carlow.

Joint-captain Iain Corbett is listed among the substitutes' after missing out last weekend due to a hamstring issue.

Carlow defeated Wicklow 0-17 to 1-13 in their opening round Tailteann Cup game in Aughrim on Sunday last.

Limerick are due to face Wicklow in a round three Tailteann Cup fixture on Saturday, June3.
