Limerick's minor footballers face Waterford in the Munster MFC at Mick Neville Park this evening.
LIMERICK'S minor footballers are back in action this Thursday evening when they face Waterford in a crucial Munster MFC fixture at Mick Neville Park, Rathkeale.
John Ryan's side got back into contention with a 4-6 to 0-15 win over Clare in Miltown-Malbay a week ago with Newcastle West Andrew Lyons scoring 2-3.
Limerick had opened the competition with a disappointing defeat to Tipperary at the same venue but the Clare win has given them fresh hope of reaching the Munster semi-final and a phase one final.
A win over the Deise is a strong possibility given their form but a draw could be enough for Ryan's charges to progress but that depends on the Clare versus Tipperary game that takes place at the same time.
Limerick and Clare currently sit on two points apiece, while Tipperary top the table with wins over Limerick and Waterford to their name. Waterford are without a point from their two games.
The game versus Waterford is being streamed live by Munster GAA. Limerick have made one change for the game and the team is as follows.
