The Limerick Masters Football team will play six championship games in their inaugural season
LIMERICK'S Masters gaelic football team will play six championship games in their inaugural year after fixtures were revealed for the team.
The over 40s side will open their season with an away trip to Waterford on Saturday, May 6. They also face fixtures against Kerry, Laois, Westmeath, Roscommon and Cork.
A 36-man panel was announced last month by manager Anthony McCarthy that included the likes of Ciarán Carey and Micheál Reidy.
The team will be captained by Maurice O'Connor of Mountcollins. All games will be played under the umbrella of the Gaelic Masters Association.
