UL ARE in Sigerson Cup quarter finals action this evening when they make the trip to face the University of Galway.

Dangan is the venue for the game that is a repeat of the 2022 final and the Limerick college will be looking to avenge the three-point loss they suffered to tonight's opponents.

UL started their 2023 campaign with an impressive win over UCC in the first round. Goals from Paul Matthews and Paul Walsh helped them to a 2-7 to 0-10 victory.

A defeat on penalties against TU Dublin followed for UL, before they got back on track with a straightforward win over SETU Carlow in their next game.

The reigning champions have been in excellent form in the 2023 Sigerson Cup, cruising to wins over Maynooth University and UCD. Galway duo Tomo Culhane and Matthew Tierney have been key to their progress thus far.

The University of Galway will be justifiable favourites going into the clash but UL will be hopeful of pulling off a shock for the game that has a 7pm throw-in.

The game is also being streamed on the Electric Ireland YouTube page from 6:55pm and can be accessed via the following link:UL v University of Galway
