Johnny Murphy gets a first Munster SHC game as Wicklow referee confirmed for Limerick v Cork

Limerick referee Johnny Murphy

LIMERICK'S own Johnny Murphy will be the man in the middle this Sunday for the All-Ireland Club Hurling Championship Final.

Kilkenny's Ballyhale Shamrocks and Antrim's Dunloy are the teams competing at Croke Park for the showpiece final that has a 1:30pm. That game is then followed by the football final between Kilmacud Crokes and Glen.

Murphy only took charge of his first Munster SHC game last year at Walsh Park when Tipperary met Waterford. In 2021 he refereed the Leinster SHC Final.

The Ballylanders man made his refereeing debut at senior championship level in 2018. Murphy is a former Limerick senior footballer and played club hurling with Glenroe.
