Deaths in Limerick - November 20, 2018

The death has occurred of Garry Ledger, Brown’s Quay, Thomondgate, late of Castle Barracks & Roches Stores, peacefully at Milford Care Centre.

Deeply regretted by his sister Frances, brothers Jim, Bertie, Goff and Danny, nephews, nieces, all other relatives, neighbours & friends.

Reposing at Cross' Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, Thursday (Nov. 22nd) from 5pm followed by removal at 6.30pm to St. Munchin's Church, Clancy Strand. Requiem Mass Friday (Nov. 23rd) at 11am with funeral afterwards to Mount St. Oliver Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired to, Milford Care Centre.

The death has occurred of Desmond Murray, New Road, Killeely, late of the University of Limerick, peacefully at University Hospital Limerick. 

Very deeply regretted by his loving wife Mavis, daughters Catherine, Claire & Siobhan, sons Kieran & Brendan, ten grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

Reposing at Cross' Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, Wednesday (Nov. 21st) from 5pm followed by removal at 6.30pm to St. Lelia's Church, Ballynanty. Requiem Mass Thursday (Nov. 22nd) at 11am followed by private Cremation.

The death has occurred of Betty O'Connor (née Hogan), 28 Stenson Park, Farranshone and late of Killeely, peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Riverdale Nursing Home. 

Beloved wife of the recently deceased Kevin and dearest mother of Deirdre, Jackie, Elaine, Mary, Kevin and Gerard. Deeply regretted by her brothers Richard & Connie, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives & friends.

Reposing at Griffin’s Funeral Home, John’s Gate on Thursday (Nov. 22nd) from 6pm Removal at 7.30pm. to St. Munchin’s Church, Clancy Strand. Requiem Mass on Friday (Nov. 23rd) at 1pm. Burial afterwards in Castlemungret Cemetery. Family flowers only ~ donations if desired to Alzheimer’s Society.

The death has occurred of Bernadette Ann Bartlett (née Copues), Croydon and Birmingham and formerly of Limerick, peacefully in Birmingham.

Wife of the late Derek, daughter of the late Alphonsus and Catherine. Regretted by her son Graham, grandchildren, sister Phyllis, nephews and nieces, extended family and friends. May she rest in peace.

Memorial mass in St. John’s Cathedral at 10am this Wednesday 21st November 2018 followed by interment of ashes in Mount St. Lawrence Cemetery.
