Deaths in Limerick - March 7, 2018

The death has occurred of Stephen Carey, St. Joseph Street and Kennedy Park, late of Cuan Mhuire, peacefully in the gentle and wonderful care of the management and staff at Millbrae Lodge Nursing Home.

Pre-deceased by his partner Anne Kelly. Sadly missed by his children & grandchildren, sisters & brother, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Griffin’s Funeral Home, John’s Gate on Thurs. (Mar. 8th) from 5.30pm. Removal at 7pm to St. Joseph’s Church, O’Connell Ave. Funeral on Friday Mar. 9th after 11.30am Mass to Mount St. Oliver Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, to Sr Agnes at Cuain Mhuire.

The death has occurred of Mary Coffey (née Cullinan), Golf Links Road, Castletroy, late Nursing Staff, Milford Care Centre, peacefully at Milford Care Centre. 

Beloved wife of Tom, dearest mother of Louise, Adrian, Emma and Helena and adored granny to Christopher and Kate. Deeply regretted by her brothers Denis & Tom, sister Bridget, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Milford Care Centre (New) Mortuary on Thurs. (Mar. 8th) from 6pm. Removal at 7.30pm to Our Lady Help of Christians Church, Milford. Funeral on Friday (Mar. 9th) after 12 noon Mass to Kilmurry Cemetery, Castletroy

The death has occurred of Ann Slattery, The Laurels, Briarfield, Castletroy, peacefully at Milford Care Centre.

Very deeply regretted by her loving family, sisters Christina (Finucane) and Maureen (O’Brien), brothers Jack (Slattery) and Ralph (Slattery), nieces Cliona, Ciara, Mary and Bernadette, nephews Kevin, Kieran and Patrick, extended family circle, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at St. Mary Magdalene Church, Monaleen, Thursday (March 8th) from 6pm to 7pm followed by prayers. Requiem Mass Friday (March 9th) at 12noon with funeral afterwards to Abington Cemetery, Murroe. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to Milford Care Centre.

The death has occurred of Ann Alldritt (née Boylan), Devere Court, Carew Park and late of Monaghan and London.

Survived by son James Boylan and his partner Meave, grandsons Aaron, Alex and Shane, great-grandson Mason, daughter-in-law Tricia and all other relatives and large circle of friends.

The death has occurred of Patsy Barrett, Rooskagh, Carrigkerry. Patsy (better known as number 7) is survived by his sisters Peg and Betty, brothers Mike and Jane, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Riedys Funeral Home, Newcastle West, Wednesday, 7th March, from 6pm. Removal at 8pm to Carrigkerry Church. Requiem Mass Thursday 8th March at 11.30am. Burial afterwards in Calvary Cemetery, Newcastle West.

The death has occurred of Miriam Hanlon Heffernan, late of Greystones, Co. Wicklow and formerly of Bruree, Co. Limerick and Bray, Co. Wicklow, passed away peacefully after a long illness on 5th March, 2018 in the wonderful care of all the staff in the Intensive Care Unit, St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin.

Predeceased by her loving parents Denis and Aida, sadly missed by her husband Sean and all the Heffernan family, her siblings Denise, Adrienne, Jennifer, Jacki, Siobhán and Andrew, brothers-in-law Gerry, Brendan and Kevin, nieces, nephews, grandnephew, relatives and friends.

Funeral Service on Thursday (8th March) at 11.30am in Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray, followed by burial in Springfield Cemetery, Killarney Road, Bray.

The death has occurred of Mary Alice Kennedy (née Murphy), New Pallas, Pallasgreen, peacefully at her daughter's home in Nenagh.

Pre deceased by her husband Bernie.Sadly Missed by her loving Son's Aidan, Bernard & Ed, Daughter Sally McGrath, Sister Nora Mai, Daughter's in law Marion, Martina & Louise, Son in law George, sister's in law, Grandchildren relatives & a large circle of friends. R.I.P.

Reposing at Ryan's Funeral home Pallasgreen this Wednesday evening at 6pm with removal to St John the Baptist Church Nicker at 8 pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 11.30am, with burial afterwards in St Columba's Cemetery, Pallasgreen. Family flowers only, donations if desired to Irish Cancer Society or Hospice Society.
