It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Bridie Stiles (née O’Shaughnessy) Lynwood Park, St. Patrick’s Road, Limerick and formerly of Quin’s Cottages

On December 28th 2025, peacefully, at University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by her family

Beloved wife of the recently deceased John, mother of the late Keith and sister of the late Gerry and aunt of the recently deceased Pat.

Sadly missed by her loving daughters Deborah and Vicky, son-in-law Derek, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers Willie and Patrick, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at Cross’s Funeral Home, Lower Gerald Griffin Street, Friday, January 2nd, from 4.30pm to 6pm.

Funeral will arrive Saturday, January 3rd, at St. Brigid's Church, St Patrick's Road, for Requiem Mass at 11am, followed by Service in Shannon Crematorium at 1pm.

Bridie's Funeral cortége will pass the family residence after Mass to enable neighbours and friends to pay their respects.

Bridie’s ashes will be interred in Castlemungret Cemetery, Mungret, Saturday, January 10th, at 11am.

Bridie’s family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Dr. Cathal, Lucy and Gary, I.C.U. at University Hospital Limerick for their exceptional care and support

It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Augustine (Gus) Stanners, Cragbeg, Clarina, Co. Limerick and late of Lenihan Avenue, Prospect, Mount Kenneth House Windmill and Ex Cork Examiner and Dell.

On December 29th 2025, peacefully, at University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by his family.

Very deeply regretted by loving wife Dolores, sons John, Augustine, Foncy, Darren and William, daughters Madeline, Maria and Edel, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister Margaret, nephews, nieces, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Pre-deceased by brother Tony and sister Angela.

The death has occurred of John Reynolds, Tervoe, Clarina, Co. Limerick and formerly of Killimor, Co. Galway. Late of L.I.T..

December 28th, 2025, peacefully, at University Hospital, Limerick, surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of the late Kathleen. Dearly loved father of Kevin, Fiona, Eileen and Mary.

John will be very sadly missed by his brother Mattie, daughter-in-law Denise, son-in-law Kieran, his cherished grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Predeceased by his sisters Bridget and Mary.

Reposing at St. Joseph’s Church, Ballybrown on Monday evening (29th December) from 5.30pm to 7pm. Requiem Mass will take place on Tuesday (30th December) at 11.30am with burial afterwards in Kilkeedy Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Lillian Quirke (née O’Sullivan) Westbury, Corbally, Limerick. December 26th, 2025, unexpectedly, in the tender care of the staff at the Mater Hospital, Dublin.

Beloved wife of Jim. Dearly loved mother of James, Marcus and Amy. Much loved daughter of Des and the late Chris.

Lillian will be very sadly missed by her daughters-in-law Lucy-Anne and Teri, son-in-law Keith, her cherished grandchildren, brother Andrew, sister Aisling, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Tuesday (30th December) from 5pm to 6.30pm followed by removal to St. Mary’s Church, Athlunkard Street. Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday (31st December) at 11am with burial afterwards in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Adare.

The death has occurred of Pat O’Donnell, Newtown, Clarina, Co. Limerick, V94 V659 and formally of Buttevant, Co. Cork.

December 28th 2025 peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved husband of Marguerite. Dearly loved father of Isabelle, Thomas, Aidan and Olivia. Pat will be sadly missed by his loving mother Mary, brother James, sister Anne, uncle Michael, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family and a wide circle of friends. Predeceased by his father Tom.

The death has occurred of Noreen O'Brien, Glencourt, Emly, Co. Tipperary. Formerly of Ballinahinch, Knocklong, Co. Limerick. Late Of Meade's Shop Knocklong

Noreen died peacefully on the 27th December 2025 surrounded by her loving family in the care of the ICU staff of the Mater Hospital Dublin after a tough and valiant battle with a sudden illness.

Noreen is sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving children Michaela, Jordan and Marissa, her doting parents Margaret and Patsy, her heartbroken siblings Majella, Patricia, Pauline, Thomas, John, Barbara and Anthony, nieces and nephews, cousins Aunts and Uncles, friend and father of her children Tom, son in law Jamie, brothers in law, sister in law, extended family, a wide circle of friends and her beloved dogs.

Deeply missed by his heartbroken family, wife Teresa, Children Michael and his wife Ingrid, Lorraine and her husband John and Kieran, grandchildren Gavin and his wife Orla, Andrea and her partner David, Eoin and his partner Mairead, brothers Donal, Bernard and Gerard, sister Brid, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Joe will repose in Mc Mahon's Funeral Home, Shannon on Tuesday (30th December) from 5pm to 6:30pm. Arriving for funeral Mass in Ss John and Paul Church, Shannon on Wednesday (31st December) at 12:30 followed by cremation in Shannon Crematorium at 2pm.

The death has occurred of Philip (Phil) Cotter, Pallaskenry, Co. Limerick, and formerly of Manchester, England and Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam died unexpectedly on the 16th of December 2025 in Vietnam.

Phil is mourned by his parents Sean and Chris, sister Tracey and brothers Denis and John, brother-in-law Owen, sisters-in-law Laura and Tríona, nieces and nephews, and extended Cotter and Delap family’s, and his many friends and relations.

He was deeply loved and will be forever missed.

Philip will be reposing at his residence Summerville, Pallaskenry, Co. Limerick, V94 P2NR on Friday evening 2nd January 2026 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.

Funeral mass in St. Mary's Church, Pallaskenry on Saturday 3rd January 2026 at 12:00 noon followed by burial immediately afterwards in Kilcornan Cemetery.
