THE Limerick team has been named to play Waterford in round one of the Munster Minor Hurling Championship on Friday evening.
The April 3 tie will take place in the TUS Gaelic Grounds at 7pm.
The Limerick U17 side is managed by Diarmuid Mullins with selectors Ger Kelliher, Brian Sexton, Jody Hannon and Tom Murphy.
The county minors are captained by Na Piarsaigh's Shane Waters with vice-captain Eoin Hennessy of Patrickswell - both were also involved last season.
After the Good Friday clash with champions Waterford, a trip to Ennis eight days later closely follows this opening round game before a three-week break before back-to-back clashes with Cork and Tipperary.
