Patricia Ryan and Edel Fitzgerald of Croom Community Development Association
CROOM Community Development Association (CCDA) has announced the return of its annual Easter Egg Hunt, taking place in Croom Town Park on Good Friday, April 3.
The event features a series of interactive games spread throughout the park grounds, with children finding a coloured plastic egg at the conclusion of each challenge.
A highlight of the day remains the family egg and spoon race, where parents are encouraged to compete alongside their children in a test of balance and speed. For those seeking an extra challenge, the search for the elusive golden eggs will take place across the park, with several lucky winners expected to track down the well-hidden prizes.
Edel Fitzgerald, of CCDA, noted that this event always fills up fast, and pre-booking in advance is needed.

Patricia Ryan, CEO of the CCDA, expressed her excitement for the upcoming festivities, noting that the event has become a cornerstone of the spring season for families in Croom and the surrounding areas.
CCDA wishes to thank the Croom CE Scheme and the dedicated staff at the Park and Civic Centre for their continued hard work in preparing the grounds for the celebration.
